Letter to Mola Njoh Litumbe

FROM BRITISH DECLASSIFIED: UN AND UK SAY THERE WAS A FEDERAL UNION

Dear Pa Mola Njoh Litumbe,

Again I repeat and others have said the same thing that the legality of the Federation had a problem; partly because of our ignorance or whatever and the conspiracy by our Colonial Master United Kingdom. This has been greatly studied by the Ambazonian Restoration Council (ARC) and come to the conclusion that since our Colonial Master, the United Kingdom said there was a "Federation" which all now agree that the process was not completed or talk less of being transparent. So, we are now facing a big task fighting our occupier, our Colonial Master and her allies in international arenas that are backing our occupier. That is why ARC sees the restoration law 84/01 as God sent. Let us accept our colonial master’s stand that there was a "federation" because the Restoration Law 84/01 has given us an opening to be free.

Mola, your arguments if not all, to me is taking us or directing us towards confronting first UN and our Colonial Master, which surely will make her, to drum up support from her allies against us. All your analysis is not factoring in the participation of our Colonial Master. Until you do that your said enlightenment is doing what our occupier wants. Let us not be talking too much and too sweet to ourselves because we are about facing the mighty “Njangi” house called the UN and Our Colonial Masters called the UK. Once they agree, we are in big trouble. We can easily get them on our side by pointing to the fact that LRC violated the said Federation, even though we say it is illegal. In that way the UN and UK with hands clean and off the hook, can say, you see LRC, you violated the Federation, it is your fault.

Mola, we have a God sent solution and that is what the Fon is working on with the Former British Attorney General as representer of Ambazonia at the Ambazonia V. LRC talks, which you seem to ignore. The concubinage talk is sweet talk to us not to the UN and UK!!!!.

On the 24th October 1961 --Prorogation Her Majesty’s Most Gracious Speech to the join Houses of Lord and Common Ref: vol 646 cc838-42 states in paragraph 11, as follows:

--Following on a plebiscite held last February United Kingdom Trusteeship in the Cameroons has been terminated. The Northern part has joined Nigeria and the Southern part has united in a Federation with the Cameroun Republic

That was/is the official stand of Her Majesty Government on the Trusteeship over the British Southern Cameroons. That is what they told the SCNC also sometime in early 2000 that they ended the trusteeship in accordance with the UN law. How did they come to this?

Here below in parts are some detail actions that took place during the process as recorded in our colonial Master's archives. Our master says there was a "Federation". Read these paragraphs of November 1961 British's Cabinet records now retyped from Ambazonian Achieves. Note; the whole document is made up of 12 paragraphs and only four are typed below:

CABINET

SOUTHERN CAMEROONS

MEMORANDUM BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS

1. My colleagues will recall the anxieties felt in the summer over the situation which was likely to arise in the Southern Cameroons when it joined the Republic of Cameroun on 1st October.

2. It will be remembered that the Southern Cameroons which had been under United Kingdom trusteeship and was administered as part of Nigeria voted in a plebiscite last February to gain independence by joining the neighbouring Republic of Cameroun, which was formerly under French trusteeship. This decision was confirmed by the United Nations in April.

6. Some of these fears [UPC Communist ideas] may well revive later; but so far none of them have been realised. Mr. Foncha, the President of the Southern Cameroons, had a series of meetings with President Ahidjo throughout the summer and there were two tripartite meetings in which the United Kingdom also took part. Thanks largely to the statesmanship of President Ahidjo a form of Federal Constitution was worked out which was acceptable to Mr. Foncha. The two States will retain their separate existence but all major powers will be in the hands of the Federal authorities. The Federal Constitution is very much of the modern French type in that the President will be executive in the fullest sense. There is a Vice-President who is in fact Mr. Foncha) but he only performs such functions as the President may bestow upon him. The Prime Ministers of the two States and of the Federal Government are appointed by the President and he can remove Ministers if he wishes to do so. Federal Ministers are not responsible to the legislature.

9. As to external affairs, the sympathies of the present Government of the Federation are with the moderates. President Ahidjo sent to represent it at the United Nations a former Minister of the Southern Cameroons. President Ahidjo and Sir Abubakar, the Prime Minister of Nigeria, have both been most anxious that there should be friendly relations between the new Federation and Nigeria. Nigeria has been helpful in various matters to the Cameroons and the two countries are in fact on cordial terms.

Mola, did you hear our Colonial Master saying that the Federal Constitution was worked out and most respectfully thanks to the Statesmanship of Ahidjo? Did you hear that it was confirm by the United Nations in April? Is that not the French Cameroun constitution that was modified? If that was what our Colonial Master did or endorse as the "Federal Constitution"; registered at the UN or not the Colonial Master say there was a Federation. And how the British did it that the UN accepted that it was fine is what we don't know. Will it be reasonable to say that the restoration law 84/001 dissolved the "Federation" as Ambazonia has asserted? Please note and note well I am not saying the process was perfect and neither does any member of the ARC.

Can you now see why Cameroon will not dare to stand Ambazonia’s demand in a court of law? Why? Because Cameroon messed up with a stolen property that was given to her. Now the British that carried out the deal cannot stand to accept doing it again to support Cameroon because Restoration Law 84/001 destroyed the fake ownership title (Federation) that the British gave Cameroon.

If you keep saying you are Southern Cameroonians, then our Colonial Master as well as their allies knows that you entered into a "Federation". Therefore, which is the easiest way out for us? To bring international law text books on the table to seek a proper implementation of the process in accordance to article 102? --and claim being a strong international experts? Then go for it.

Where have you been since 1961? Yes, there was illegality but how best we can get what was lost without suffering much is what is important. All what some elites know best is to deny what works to pursue personal gains or character assassination of others. Keep promoting Cameroonian identity.

SOLUTION: Seek law Enforcement of restored Former West Cameroon pursuant to Law 84/001 according to the international law of creation and extinction of states (case in point Senegambia-Former Senegal and Gambia).

ARC says let assert our Ambazonian identity and seek enforcement of verdicts that carries Ambazonia as our identity some say no the verdicts are propaganda. Good on you mates.
